I was happily having a stable 30 fps prior to this update, in Novigrad it dropped down to 27 at some parts, like in the market, but it was always safely above 30.
Now, after I've updated the game, I'm lucky if I can get more than 25, with the exact same settings I have used throughout my entire gameplay (since patch 1.01 that included the .exe), not to mention that it drops down to around 10 when I'm in the woods and I move the camera abruptly around.
So, I'd like to know if anyone else is having a performance hit with this latest update, and if anyone knows if CDProjekt are working on it.

I haven't experienced any performance drops, but I've seen several people posting similar threads. So no, you're not the only one.
