Hey guys,
I have one problem, I bought the game when the patch 1.07 was out. I dont want to use the client, so I went to my account and downloaded the patch directly.
Now that 1.08 is out, I downloaded that patch. But if I try to install it, an error pops up and tells me the sourcefiles are damaged. Can I even patch (with the 1.02 -1.08 bin) to 1.08 from 1.07?
Or should I try to redownload it?

I really dont want to reinstall the whole game just for one patch.
Thanks in advance!

Perhaps your download got corrupted. Try to redownload the patch and install it again. You can patch from 1.07 with the same file which you can use to patch from 1.02. So this should be no problem.
I have downloaded all patches and dlc directly. Not using Galaxy at all.

1.07 to 1.08, and 1.08 to 1.08.1 are big downloads, (but still smaller than the smaller download, plus the 7.5GB "goodies" pack, that Galaxy apparently insists on refreshing each time), but installed perfectly.
Hey thanks for the quick answer, I will try that.

One more thing, while installing the dlcs, the witcher 3 folder got flooded with goggame-*longnumber*.info and many unins00X.exe/dat/msg files. Can I delete the extra 6 I have of them (I only installed about 6) or do I have to keep them?

I don't know. But better don't delete them.
