How big is the new patch supposed to be? I've downloaded it twice now and both times its only 2gig. In my game's download section its also listed as such. I've read people saying its over 7gig.

I also tried installing it but it hangs and doesn't seem to finish. Is it actually a 7gig file installing and its incorrectly showing the file size as 2gig? I haven't had a problem with patches up to now. Thanks for any help.

The patch will hang. That's what they do. Let it finish and don't be impatient/

Some it's just 2gb. others it's 7.5 gb. I'm guessing they saw 1.07 had many issues so it was halted as my GOG start up always said I had 1.06 even though I thought I had updated to 1.07, so yea mine is 7.5gb and taking forever server is over loaded and super slow!

I tried re-installing again but it said file was already installed. Sure enough the game runs up fine and now has the current version level written on the main game menu in the bottom left hand corner. I'm guessing it just "looked" like it hung but actually installed and the installer menu glitched.

I was on 1.07, I downloaded the 2GB 1.02->1.08 patch and ran that, I am now on 1.08 as reported in game.

Why then does Galaxy still want to download another 7.5GB update for TW3?
Verify / Repair does not appear to make any difference.

This is the same bug some others are reporting. The 7,5GB are not the patch. The 7,5GB are the extras of Witcher 3 which Galaxy wants to download even if you don't ask for it. Perhaps you find something to disable the download of the extra files.

For me this patch is a game breaking disaster.
I cannot play more than 15min without having a crash to desktop almost everytime.
The game still appears in the taskbar but I cannot switch back to it and a few seconds later it crashes...
Anybody else having this problem ?

Galaxy is a disaster that should still be on the testing bench.
