I don't know why they did this or what they were thinking, but it almost ruins the experience - its very aggrivating!!
Also, because I have superior Ursine swords and superior Feline Armor, and some other superior ursine gauntlent and boots that were previously set at level 27 but now it are set for 30 , and once I entered a fists of fury fight i had to take my armor and swords off but now i cannot use them again for a long time because they are in my inventory, and I am at Level 27 and Now all of the equipment that formerly required 27 or lower now requires level 30 or higher, that could take a long time to acheieve when you just reached level 27!! Therefore, I am not going to attempt to play the game until this problem is resolved , but will be checking for fixes!!

Nothing is as it was before the Latest patch 1.07 which raised the level of everything at least three points and that can take a long time to achieve especially since i just got some new equipment but can not use it until i gain another three levels and equipment that was accessable at one point now requires three or more points highter!! Has anybody else experienced this problem?

It's as intended.
They aligned the level requirements to those of the wolf armor DLC.
Probably for balancing reasons.

I don't see the problem, really. You can always use another armor/sword until you level up. Aren't you overreacting a little bit?

Some people are on their third or fourth play thru,so maybe the dev's decided to
make it a bit harder by tweaking it up a bit.

Meh, it's not difficult anyway.
With enhanced cat equipment at level 20-ish I went collecting all wolf gear available at Kaer Morhen. Even the piece protected by a golem at least 10 lvls higher than me.

The combat in Witcher 3 it's all about dodging and rolling.
If you can evade the damage you can fight without armor.

No its not an overreaction because it took me a long time to get this gear and now its going to take even longer berffore i can use it again, and i'm not the only person who feels this way.

If you say so... You can always go ahead and mod the xml files so you can level up faster, or use cheat engine to do the same :/

I understand exactly what you're explaining:
Why should you have to earn the right to use the same equipment you have already earned the right to use, just because some idiot in the development team thought this was a good idea. It's bad enough that leveling takes a long time to begin with, players don't need this type of crap happening.

There was absolutely no reason to affect equipment that has already been earned.

So just ignore the trolls responding to you in this thread. They have zero comprehension understanding someone's issue(S), and always ignore the actual problem someone is having as shown by their replies.

Same here had to uninstall, game wouldn't start 'mismatchcount error'

I've completed the game anyway, was having fun swimming miles across seas to question marks [boats always sink on me]

Well, forgive me if a topic about a change in level requirement for equipment, titled "Patch 1.07 Ruined Everything!!", looks like the posterchild of the "First world problems" meme.

That error has nothing to do with the new patch. That error is caused by an outdated console enabler mod. Update it.
