Switchblade: Got that "New Animations" message, too. Immediately checked the options menu but couldn't find anything new. Apart from the colorblind thing (which is extremely helpful!).

As it seems that people who have the English language activated do not see this message but rather something about "new content", yes, it is very likely that it's only a mistranslation. I figured that out on my own.
