Mathyous: I had the same problem. I was trying to do it for 1h until i loaded a previous game saved. I had lucky because this game saved was near before, when u meet "that noble barbarian, i dont remember the name" fighting with some harpys at the hall of the village.
I recomend u to load previous game, and always going saving like each 15 min more or less.
nelnatas: i did load an earilier save did some other stuff . ill go back and try it again hopefuly it was back far enough it was at the point you had to go and help determin the king
i awlays for get to save lol and i only rember when im about to die and think crap forgot to save hehe
wow, we have the same problem. im stuck on the King's Gambit quest. What happens is that after you found out Arnvald (err the skellige "bulter") is part of the plot to kill all the candidates for the skellige crown, you go to his room and found out some connection that it was that woman who had a son named svan something. oh birna is the scheming woman. so after reading the letter, cyris would say "time to gather the jarls" and screen fades out for loading-and after that the game screen is stuck at game loads... and loads and loads.. it simply is stucked on loading screen. even after 10 minutes... so i dunno. im gonna restart the game again. if it is still stuck at loading, i can only do is skip this quest.
