Hey, just finished the main story of the game and even though i couldn't believe, that all the praise for the game was really deserved , the witcher really proved me wrong. this game has almost everything and most of it way better than every other game.
But i just wanted to point out a few things that bugged me throughout my awesome journey.
First of all, the controlls when you ride a horse. I don't know if it was just me or everybody playin on a keyboard but when you ride on a path just pressing shift and observing the beautiful landscape, the controlls really worked kinda counter-intuitive when faced with a sudden danger or quest.
The horse definetly should have controlled more like a vehicle. Pressing "A" shouldn't turn the horse to the left side of the screen but just turn the horse left.
Second. Save Files should state how long you already enjoyed the game. I didn't buy the game on steam and my galaxy client was off most the time because it sometimes started to eat a lot of resources.
And third and most important.
It became a trend in modern RPGs, that dialogue options are only displayed in one sentence or less, and often not even with the words the character says but just a rough summon of it. I mean we get bigger and bigger screens, so the room to show more words is definetely there and it happened sometimes, that i clicked on one option and geralt started talking about stuff i didn't intend to.
There is a little bit more but at least the least two points aren't things that should anger anybody but please at least me if attended to in later games from CD-Project.
Oh and even though i already loved the Witcher series since CD-Project went all out DRM-Free awhile ago, this game blew me away with it's brilliant dialogues, really good localization, quality and... well you get it. This game, even with it's flaws, is one the best ever made.
