I make my way up to caranthir (as ciri) smashing all the wild hunt guys who aren't moving, smash the hounds who are moving, when I reach caranthir he is just standing there doing nothing, I smash and smash and yes do that for hours and yep nothing happens, I read to do a verify/repair but since December GOG says server error, this great game has well stopped dead in its tracks..... Not sure whats going on?? I also read do not skip the cut scenes prior but I have done that too, I have also gone back and spent time travelling the map then go back to the quest and samething happens, awesome!!!

This happened to me today. I just had to reload the save and everything worked again.

Well once again for the 5th maybe 6th time that didn't work, what version did you get it to work on?? I downloaded the 1.12 update the day it was available and installed it and the dlc with no problems, I reached this "On thin ice" and nothing happens at the boss, I have tried everything that I have read, example: don't skip the cut scenes, reload from a level prior, re-install the gog galaxy system, re-install patch 1.12 and dlc patch, I even tried to verify/repair my game but since the day after 1.12 update gog galaxy keeps saying "cant connect to server"...

If this means I have to re-download the whole game again plus the updates that is absolutely pathetic, what a total waste of time and money!!!! Great game is now just garbage, and the lack of help from the game makers is very bad.

Why send me a standard email back asking me to do everything I already stated I had done.
