Ciri, that is.

Every time she takes center stage my heart sinks and I wish I could just let her die and move on with the game I love.
Ciri reminds me of the Oblivion Gates in Oblivion. Every time they popped up, the game stalled for me. Absolutely hated those gates. It was because of them I didn't finish that game.

Whoever gave the go ahead for her inclusion needs to explain that decision. I don't think Ciri's inclusion advances the story. (Maybe later? I'm at about level 20 as I write this.) Why not the dapper and humorous Dandelion? Or even better, Triss or Yennifer the kickass mages? They are both also involved in solving the puzzle and their inclusion would advance the plot. (Side benefit would be their take on our main man and their romantic partner!) But to whoever limited the Ciri inclusion to the limited amount she does appear, you have my Thanks! Ciri isn't the game breaker those Gates were, but s__t, I hate her!

And in case you didn't know, Ciri's last name is Nerf.

(I have a major hate on for Ciri, but that is in the context of considering The Wild Hunt the best RPG I have ever played.)

No... you don't say?

Edit: I'd just like to add that I also have a "major hate on"... for Dandelion. No, he's not "dapper", nor "humorous", he's a fop and a boor.

While I do not hate ciri I find her mini-games annoying. I tolerated the ciri mini-games on my first play though. However, I wish there was a way to skip them on a subsequent play through. The only reason I can think of for the ciri diversions is they tell her back story.

The only thing I got from the werewolf hunt was that ciri found out how to make blade oils while at Kaer Mohren. This shows that Geralt, who has been a witcher for more than 50 years, is going senile because he does not remember how and must find the recipes.
^_^ *handshake* In New Game Plus I found it really hard (aka cumbersome, boring) to play her part. ( Solution: God Mode, and keep the story going, because that's what matters, correct? ) -- Priscilla is the new Dandelion. I quite liked his role in TW1 ..

This is the funniest post ever to grace this forum.
I thought the same thing, the dude is 100 years old and a level 1 witcher with the worst weapons.
Yeah, why didn't the devs have Geralt start at level 70 and every monster just drops dead as soon as they see Geralt coming! :P The nerve of some people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;) Boy would the game be fun THEN, right??? :|

Yes. Yes, it would. Certainly a lot more fun than majority of quests being way too easy, others only being kinda too easy and the rest far too difficult because all monsters of 5+ lvls above you get buffed into bullet sponges that are no fun to fight. The leveling system of Witcher 3 is terrible and the game would get a lot better if it was either dropped entirely or massively streamlined - and it makes no sense to boot.

I can't agree more.
