I am dying regularly on most quests I do.
Dead man's party - In the burial chamber the ghosts that appear after all the wraiths have been killed keep on killing me.
One hit and my health bar empties.
Rose on a red field - Fighting the Fallen knights in the drugs laboratory I found impossible until I managed to isolate myself
between a rock face and below the wooden walkway. They did not reach me with their swords and all I could do was to use igni on those standing on the walkway but this took literally hours as igni on its own did minimal damage.
The original play through I found realistic but this is madness.
Anyone agree with me?

I hate NG+ in any game. There's simply no point to them, except for an urge for *MOAR BIGGA*. When you play NG+ you start with nearly all of the things you would have to go looking for in a proper game. I find them utterly boring.
dont play ng+ but start a new game on the highest difficulty

Too late now. The White Frost has been defeated so I have only the DLC to do.

I agree. Fortunately as there are 36 different endings in the game I have been able to do things differently this time, not being left alone at game end. To clarify my complaint, only certain enemies appear way above my current level. Others are not a problem.

I can't help you on the whys or wherefores of enemies within NG+, but it seems that you may be missing my point: I have completed this game umpteen times, and experienced different endings without ever playing NG+. You don't need to do that. Playing NG+ is no different than starting a new game from scratch in respect of story. The only difference is the game is completely spoiled for the player in NG+. That's how I see it.

I see your point. Its just the impossible fights I am facing now which were no problem on my first play through.
I now refer to my other thread. I ungraded my quest sign and selected it prior to entering the crypt in "Dead man's party"
On lighting that thing in the middle to summon the ghosts my first problem is that my selected sign has changed to Yrden,
I have to quickly take a thunderbolt potion, throw a moon dust bomb and change the sign to quen and repeatedly take swallow. But I die every time. They take little damage while my health bar drops from full to almost empty in a second..
