In hindsight I should have replayed the original game from level 1 instead of NG+.
As level 100 is the maximum level obtainable, any quests completed after this point reaps no XP points and this includes
the main quests. I reached this stage having numerous quests still available, places and notice boards never visited,
and undiscovered locations left undiscovered, not to mention all those question marks on the maps.
Did you use any mods that alter the exp rewards from quests? I don't use DLCs so I cannot try NG+ myself, but I would think that normally (aka vanilla) level 100 should be reached only at the very end of NG+ (with both addons).

I've barely reached level 34 in my first run of the main game iirc.

i have level 60+, as a first run without mods. there should be a setting "enemy upscaling" to help with easy enemies but generally level 100 is the limit.
I do appreciate CDPR giving us NG+, but I wish it had been set up a little different. Like everything resets but you keep all your items, or you don't keep your items, but the level requirements on equipment are lifted on new items you get, or you get to keep half of your level up points. Something interesting like that without winding up with the problems the currents set up brings.

My play through included Blood and Wine and Hearts of stone.
I am at level 42, finished the main game+HoS, just begin the BaW, I think I will get level 55 at the end, so not so bad if in NG+ I will get level 100 at 90% of the game(dlc included), it wolud be nice to go over 100 limit, but I played Witcher 1 at least 8 times, without NG+, also are other games to play too(if it is time for play)...so, not so much problem from my point of view...
Realy where do all those people get their XP from? LVL 100 no way!
I play on "On Blood and Broken Bones" (maybe I'm a sisi), I'm halfway througt BaW and I'm lvl 42.
But I think it's good that way. The quests fitting my lvl or are a little over it - so it's fun but also not to easy.

PS: If you play BaW on lvl 60+ whatever do the quests scale the lvl?
If I recall correctly I ended the original game on level 55 and this was carried over to NG+ so reaching level 100 would not have been strange..
