How will these work together? Are the expansions going to be stand-alone, or are they integrated into the larger game? Previously, I would have imagined we would just load up an end-game save and play the expansions when they come out, giving us something else to do with Geralt.

Now I don't quite know what to expect.

I am under the impression that it is all going to be pre-endgame content.

The fact that ***SPOILER*** the game returns to a pre-endgame world state makes me think they can be integrated into the main game, but I've read a few posts that seem to indicate they are completely separate, standalone stories.

Yeah, exactly the world state after the credits it the reason I’ll not buy the expansions right away, if ever.

The Problem? I hear you ask. Well, after you busted your ass to achieve a desired outcome the game dumps you
into PRE Ending world state, as if nothing has changed, and all your work was for nothing. But this is so difficult to
accomplish, I hear you tell me. Yeah, but they should have thought about it earlier in the design of the game, no?

I was happy with my ending, spent some time with Ciri in Withe Orchard before she left for Nilfgard, Yen was there
and Dandelion and Zoltan. I liked it a lot. And then buuuummm, at first I was like OK lets check who is around, just
to find out that in this freaking empty desolate castle was no one at all. I was like WTF? It said pre-end so where is
everyone. Went to all the places and couldn’t find anyone. DEPRESSING.

So what’s the point of playing after credits? I just quit the game and I’m done.

How on earth should I start an expansion they want me to buy? I’m not repeating 140+ hours of gameplay, not for
10h quest. I was like level 35 at the end, last main quest was for level 28 and greyed out. If I do everything on the
map, like 101 RPG rule tells you to do, I would be off the chart completely. And they want us to go to Toussaint too,
yeah right.

Look, I compare that to my recent other experience. So the other day “The Descend” came out.
(worth €15? that’s not the question) I can easily load my last save at Skyhold go down to my companions and say
something like “Guys how about kicking some Darkspawn asses, huh?” and Varric would say something like
“Sh*t I hate Deeps Roads, you know it” and I would be like “Oh come one it will be fun” and it is FUN.
