help please. i'm at the end of the King's Gambit quest and i got this long loading screen. My game is still 1.02 but i cant patch / update it. help anyone please

If you have the retail version of the game redeem your GOG key (on the backside of the manual) here first: https://www.gog.com/redeem
Then you should be able to update it (Download the patch with your browser, the GOG Downloader or GOG Galaxy).

did just that the first time but failed. anymore suggestions?

If your key isn't working you should got to the store and get a new one or a refund.
Or write to GOG support: http://www.gog.com/support
