I'm switching from the original patch 1.02>1.08.2, and 1.08.2 wont install, I've downloaded part one and two, part one is around 900kbs and is an exe, part two is over 2gb and downloaded as a bin file assigned with adobe reader, every time I run part one of the patch it stops responding and I have to close the program. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You should wait some time (could be up to 10 minutes and more) and don't cancel the patching. Even if you think your PC isn't doing anything just wait. For most people this helped.
