I have bought the painting at the auction and went to Novigrad to sell it to Marcus Hodgson, the book merchant. But he is not there. I tried waiting for a day, reloading the game, checked the game files. Of course, looked upstairs etc. He is not there :-(

Any ideas?

Same here. Maybe it is possible to spawn him with a console command?
