i have extremely low audio volume in game, especially during the cut scenes.
i have waited so many patches now, the problem is still not fixed.
it is one month after release of the game and i am getting fucking angry now, since no one at CDPR seems to care.
my first support ticket was never answered, the second one after 2 weeks.
the suggestion in the reply does not work.
i have simple USB stereo speakers (Bowers & Wilkins MM1) with no surround options to fiddle with.
i can not switch from 5.1 to stereo as some suggested or vice versa.

TW3 is the onyly game with this fucking problem and playing like this is not fun at all.....
why is there no support from CDPR on this issue, as apparently quite some people have this problem...
Have you tried turning it off and on!

doesnt make any difference
The Witcher 2 was like this as well; the volume is just low. Regular desktop speakers don't really do the trick; you need a receiver to really enjoy the sound. There are some other games like this, not just the Witcher series.

i didnt have the problem with TW or TW2
also all other games work fine with my setup.
It seems the games audio coding is messed up as it seems to output in 5.1 even to systems that are not 5.1
due to that the audio speech is always so extremely low

Have you guys checked your Windows options and made sure Windows is set to output 2.0 (stereo) rather than 5.1?

This could be the reason...

Hello.Yes,i check'em all the time, for all the games-if i have any problems, just to be sure. It's not that. And it's not just a few of us-many of my friends, with much better PC's,also have struggle with this.
Anyway,it's worth to keep the neighbours(hate to use headphones) awake for the Witcher.
I am also having this issue. And, yes, Witcher 3 is the only game that is affected.

Skyrim also had a similar audio issue, now that I think about it. Skyrim was basically forcing 5.1 audio so people with 2.0 speakers experienced problems such as low volume/npc voices cutting off etc.
