So far so good until i enter the cave where the giant is. I chose to free Vigo but whenever i make a few steps forward the giants awakes and the cutscene starts....meaning he is going to die. I want to save him

Any clues?

Don't make noise. Avoid snow areas while sneaking to chest with the key.

Well i knew i shouldnt make noise but i didnt avoid the snow. Thanks mate! he is alive now :)

I let him die... Is he important?

He could have lent a hand later in the game

I was going to break him out after the fight, but I never got the opportunity.
