If you downloaded patch before midnight CET and NOT using Galaxy, you may have gotten a corrupted version of it. If you encounter errors during patch installation please redownload it or simply use Galaxy.

Correct MD5 for patch is: 2315c06d86d2821848174a8ca6a45ee9

Had to edit registry settings to change drive letter for all the default Galaxy folders etc. Now the patch worked.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\GOG.com\Games\1207664643

Left the save game folder as is.

And... the game is running.. and surprisingly it seems to running at a decent framerate on the settings the game chose for me, not all of them are minimum settings. Wonderful! :)

Used GOG downloader to get the patch. Works like a charm. Game runs but kills my poor old laptop! However, I am still able to run the game pretty acceptably at almost 30 FPS. And my mobile GPU does not meet the minimum requirements! :O I HAVE NO LIFE @_@

I downloaded all of the preload files then moved them from my c drive download file to gog file in program files on c drive. I downloaded latest patch (after file 7 today) and put in the C drive file. When I go to run it says installer files missing. I went back to Gog.com and hit the galaxy button and then clicked download of the game, it is re-installing the game to my c drive outside of the program files and at the rate it is going 1mb second it will be 2 1/2 hours before done to see if possibly works at that time.

Same

The installer files missing part is really killing me, I can't download the entire game again through Galaxy after spending gigabytes on those preinstall files

Launched Witcher 3, says version 1.02 bottom right of the main screen...Eh? Only patch I see is 1.01.

Was able to patch the game earlier today fine with Galaxy.
