Hi guys,

where can i find the bear armor set?
Yes I have the upgraded one but I think we 'll find the basic ones in Velen.
If you really want to know....

(Spoilers)

I found the whole set of Superior Ursine Armor diagrams in a chest inside a monster den. Interestingly, it was the one just barely northwest from Hanged Man's Tree, which is your starting point in the open world after exiting the prologue area. I'm not sure if it's somewhat randomized or not, though, since the armor requires level 27 and the monsters guarding that area were only level 8 or so.

I'm guessing there might be a lower-level version of just Ursine Armor, though? I've crafted myself the Griffon Armor set that requires level 8, and it's not "Superior."

yea im looking for the normal version, i already found the tier 1 blueprints but i need the regular set first!
An update, in case anyone was still wondering, I found them:

(More spoilers)

They're in Skellige, in some haunted castle ruins on a little island to the far north-east from the largest "mainland" area. The village right near it is called Urialla Harbor. Set requires level 17, which is about where you should be once you've followed the main quest line to that region.
Check all armorers... I noticed they sell maps to start the quest for base versions of the 3 types of witcher armor set... if im not mistaken.
Bought the requisite map (forget which scholar's name is attached), but the treasure hunt quest didn't trigger for me; fair warning. (Maybe because I found the superior and mastercraft level diagrams first!?)
Just in case, did you read the map too? It's in the quests tab after purchasing.
