I have tried and tried to play this game but no matter what lilac and gooseberries mission is bugged as hell. Either if I use the sign in the inn or don't use the sign when talking to them 2 who sat down then when I go out side and there is them 3 waiting for me one of them stares into thin air. This is also when I use the sign to make him talk or not. I have also talked to rest of the people in the inn first and won my 1st gwent game serval times. Also in the in Goats are in there and walking over tables and just been strange a making goat sounds.

When fighting the 3 out side I can kill 2 of them like I said but after this the 3rd one is still staring into thin air. Also the horses out side are acting like there scared and every one is running around screaming. The board at the bottom of the village too is all messed up.

I am using Disc version on gog and using gog galaxy. At the moment I am on windows 10 pro 64bit. This happens in windows 7 too. asus strix 970 gtx and tried different graphic settings in game too but no help.

Is this a bug and is there a way round it?. I have watched other youtube vids and this doesn't happen.

You have a corrupt installation, there's no doubt about that. What you could try is to eliminate the most likely culprits: Galaxy and Disc version.

Uninstall the game.
Uninstall GOG Galaxy.

Go to your GOG account and download the latest (1.10) installer parts 1 to 8 and place the files into C:\Dowloads\TW3\ Also download patch 1.12.1 and any DLC you want installed.

Install the game,
Install the patch.
Install the DLCs.

Run the game from the created shortcut.

I have uninstalled all dvd version and galaxy and going to download all 5 hours of it later :P

It must be corrupted DVD as this happened the first time I installed so I waited thinking a patch would fix it but it hasn't.

I no I opened up 2 topics but I didn't want that other to be clogged up in this one.

But any way it must have been broken install all this time. I noticed that the disc version also installs gog galaxy auto matic and there is option no to disable it.

I downloaded all the 8 part today which took nearly 9 hours including the 1.12 patch and 16 dlc. Once downloaded those I installed it and no gog galaxy was installed. I set up all graphic options and started a new game. I played threw tutorial as did be for. I got to the inn and inside the inn I noticed straight away there where no goats in the inn running around on top of tables but one cat which wasn't there be for. I did the same talked to every one in the inn including those two on the table using the sign. I went out and used the sign again. I finished the fight and knocked the 2 out but the one I used the sign on went to the floor. This didn't happen be for he just started into space. Also the horses and people screaming stopped.

Now I can play after all this time. Even if I get a disc version and it needs gog to play I will never install gog galaxy.

Cant wait to play now.
