That helped me.

Use Yrden on her. That's her weakness. When she's in the Yrden trap, attacks do normal damage to her, so only hit her when she's under Yrden and either dodge all her attacks or block them through Quen. When she splits into 3, activate Quen and hit her 3 images as fast as possible before she drains your health (the images each only need 1 hit to connect and they disappear).

Another useful tip is to keep your crossbow at the ready. When she splits off into multiple entities, run away a bit and then quicktap the button to fire off a shot from your crossbow (make sure you quicktap and not take time aiming). You'll easily take out her duplicates before they can drain any vitality from you. Then use Yrden and go to town on her. Wash, rinse and repeat. She was an absolute b*tch to deal with until I tried this method. Hope this helps!

Don't try and do it when the moon is up.

Little exploit you can use when she splits in 3: just run away from the fight for about 10 sec. The Jenny "clones" can't drain your health from afar and after some time they disappear on their own and Jenny reappears, without having restored her health. It's not very honorable, but you can trick your way like that out of most fights against this kind of monster.

This. You can literally beat the crap out of her once you've thrown a Moon Dust bomb at her stupid head.

You will do better if you equip armours capable of elemental resistance against wraiths. Not "full" Griffin armour.

Feline, Ursine and the DLC armours are better. AFAIK the base armour value has no effect either, only the elemental resistances.

Your (upgraded) witcher armour is your best early game armour with the Griffin trews being best. Boots, are best as Feline or DLC until you get the Alder Folk Boots... but you may also find other 'good examples' ~ I only rated the "keepers" for all round effectiveness and didn't attempt to examine everything. Griffin gloves are also good, but don't neglect 'bad' gloves just because they have a low armour value ~ there may be warm and protective gloves with little or no armour.

Not sure about Jenny*, but generally, Axii does a good job of immobilising (single) wraiths and is more reliable than basic Yrden (which I found she didn't stay inside of well enough).

*As a boss, she may not be vulnerable to Axii stunning.

Just as an fyi...

My first playthrough was on normal (recommended) difficulty and I relied heavily on quen. This made the game fairly easy. Didn't have any problem with Jenny on that playthrough.

This time I'm playing on hard and no use of quen.

Also, only light armors. Both playthroughs.

I think most would agree that this particular quest does seem higher than a level 6 one. I kept getting toasted at level 4, even though I though I felt I was pretty astute at fighting. It was still hard, but not an issue when I went back at level 8.

All the things mentioned here help. Specter oil on your sword, use Quen and Yrden - and get rid of her clones as fast as possible when they come up.

I thought this quest was level 10? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

Either way, I just drop a Yrden trap and stay just outside the trap myself, walking side ways to always keep her directly in front of me. Once she enters the Yrden trap towards me, I lung at her with a strong attack and finish with some quick attacks until she backs out of the trap. Once she backs out, I will roll or dodge back to a safe distance. I never engage her unless she is in Yrden.
