Hi,

I am having trouble moving a preload of the Witcher 3 from one Gog Galaxy installation to another. I downloaded the Witcher 3 preload at my friends house because he has unlimited internet bandwidth and I only have 80 Gb, so I can't download the game at home realistically. I finished the install, then I moved the install to a external HDD and now I am trying to install these files on my desktop. However when I move them to the exact same folder and hit import the download starts brand new. Can anyone help me so I can actually play this game tonight? I have noticed that the files from Gog Galaxy and the Gog website are different. Is this perhaps a bug? I don't use Gog much,

Thanks in advance

Galaxy install uncompressed ready-to-play game, on GOG site you can get offline installer only .
Are you sure you configured Galaxy so that it installs game to the same folder you put TW3? It does re-downloads extras, but shouldn't do it for games.
If nothing helps and it's not time consuming for you, ask your friend to get you offline installer, not the game. This way you can install it yourself wherever you like. Don't forget about Day-1 patch so you could launch the game.
