Hello fellow gamers, I have this big question on how people are handling tessellation.

In my case (AMD user) if I don't touch anything I get a few problems with ground textures not showing or misplaced polygons (specially at cave entrances) or part of the ground sticking vertically in front of said entrance and an Geralt walking with the toes under the earth most of the time.

Now if I force Tessellation through RadeonPro or CCC things are fine, detailed grounds with little rocks in it and all.

The thing is I don't know how much Tessellation the game uses, if I put x64 things look amazing but I get a little stutter here and there.

So if anyone can point me in the right direction would be awesome as I want things to look good (specially water as I read it has a direct effect with tessellation) but not putting extra/unnecessary work on my rig.

Thanks in advance!!!

PS: I don't give a damn about Hairworks ;)

you can do it in the AMD control center by overriding the application settings. Under the gaming tab then add the Witcher 3.

Note a lower tessellation value with produce the artefacts you are seeing. I think 10 is the default for the game you can go higher and see the results. That is on the water I couldn't find the setting for the rest of the tessellation.
