After not palying for about a year I tried to load the Witcher3 through the Galaxy launcher and got this error:
Hook: MatchesCountCheckError Pattern lots of numbers, found 0 expected1. Does anyone know what this means. I can't play the game now!! Please help!

Thank you!

You have the console enabler mod installed. Remove it. You don't need it.

Follow these instructions to enable it without a mod:

Close the game down (important). Now open Windows Explorer at the following location:

<%INSTALL PATH%>..\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\

Open up general.ini in Notepad. Under the [General] section add the following (case sensitive):

DBGConsoleOn=true

Start the game and open the console without a mod.

Thank you very much for your help. I did try that but it did not work. I have also tried to verify/repair the game but that did not work either. At the moment, I am waiting for tech support to get back to me. But if you have another idea I would definitely try it out (getting desperate here!) thank you again. Have a very good day!

That error is definitely caused by the console enabler mod. You must have not removed it properly if you are still getting the error.

Hi, I maybe didn't get the same problem you did, but you could try to get the 1.31 (A) version of the game (clean one = unistall all you have, even the mods > install 1.31(A) ). It is a really boring thing to do, expecially if you have lots of mods. A lot of problem with the 1.32 version are popping up. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Hope it helps.

Did you ever find a solution? I have the exact same popup and similar background story.
I got the game way back when it came out, with the expansions eventually.

I never used GoG before so I opted for downloading the gamefiles (don't know if GoG had a launcher back then even) and installing the game "manually".

I just now downloaded the GoG Galaxy app/launcher and imported my game into the launcher, my game was on version 1.21 or 1.22 before I imported it so it started downloading new patches and what not.

After this process I can no longer launch the game at all, I just get this weird popup

THIS is the solution.
I'm having this error as well, and I've never even used the debug console before. Followed the steps above with no change. Any new theories?
