So last thing I remember was that I beat the game, and went to NG+. Now, I didn't even reach Vizima in this NG+ save, that I got bored and uninstalled it to make space for I don't recall what else.
Now I'd really like to continue the expansion with this "character" or build so to speak, but do I have to beat the whole game again to be able to play the expansion? Wouldn't this character be overleveled then? Is there any way to rollback before beginning a NG+ save? Or am I going to have to use the default character lv 32 they give you to be able to play the expansions?

.. What's my best option? Thanks!!

PS: Do I have to play the 10 hour expansion to understand Blood and Wine? Mind that I've read almost all of the books so there's no character that's unfamiliar to me, or that I think. Unless there are some characters that are exclusive to these expansions.

Again, thanks!
If you use a NG+ character, then Blood and Wine won't be available until you rescue Dandelion in NG+ mode. The recommended level should be in the 60's. If you still have a save available before you started NG+ (IE old checkpoints/autosaves, or maybe even a manual save) then I'd recommend doing that.

And you don't need to play the other DLC, Hearts of Stone, to understand Blood and Wine. The DLC stories are self-contained.

The DLC's are self contained, true enough (don't know about the Dandelion bit) - but you surly need some items form different quests in the main game to get around in B&W more comfortable.
So, if you use an old save before you went to NG+, best use anything past Velen or even Novigrad.
Yup - what they said...

Hopefully you have your saves from your first run through. I would use the last save prior to starting your NG+. Then, do HoS and the B+W and then do a NG+.

You will have the best of all available that way. You will get all the added features, runesmith, Gwent book, Mutagen upgrades, et al and even your personal vineyard available to you in your NG+. Make for a good way to start off a new run.
