Namely dodging

How are you supposed to dodge against a group of say...5 wolves? they don't choreograph their attack and they hit so hard and fast its impossible to defend against it

thats a general problem i have too, unlike games like dark souls, enemies dont choreograph their attacks so it's kinda impossible to know when to dodge, they just instantly hit you

not to mention the targetting is awful, Geralt just attacks whatevers closest and it constantly changes as enemies run around you
Target lock - PC key z, xbox controller push right thumb, PS 4 R3

wolfpack - roll away and keep rolling until you string them out in early game, later improve your skills

Why should a pack of wolves have to coordinate their attacks like you want them to? It wouldn't be realistic. You can parry their attacks, you can dodge them easily, and you have plenty of signs in order to repel them. Can't defend the targetting system, but I can't say I dislike it.
