I have read that the Gwent level of difficulty should be settable under the Game section of the menu. However - It does not show. I have seen pictures of that setting, but it is simply not present in my game.

It is possible that I understood things wrong, and it's only in NG+ or only when you start an new game, but that's not made clear then. I did an full clean install (I always do that if I start testing things), but still nothing...

Am I simply stupid and did not understand it right, or.....
It is only available once you load up a save. I don't think it is available under the main menu gameplay options.
Ahh... So only if you start an NG+.. That explains it.. Thanks....

No, you shouldn't have to start NG+, just load up your game save and then go to the gameplay options; it will then be shown as an option.
The normal game difficulty setting isn't accessible from the main menu either. All of that stuff only shows up ingame. And no, of course this has nothing to do with NG+.
