Regarding the Gwent the card game, are there any worthwhile in-game contents for purchase?

Also why is the Gog server a little slow? I was downloading the public beta updates and my bandwith fluctuates from 1 to 12MB/s. Not acceptable since im using 100mb/s download speed with an ethernet cable.
