Ok folks for those of you that have found them where do I find Master or grandmaster Craftsman for weapons and armor? Tryin to have a couple of girffen swords crafted and they are all to low to craft them. Any help would greatly be appreciated as it would so give me a better Silver sword then this crap I currently use. LOL

Now I do have a quest for which I've got in my Journal but it says that its level 24 quest. Does that mean We can't get a master craftsman til then? If that is the case there then why in the world do they have gear for the which is 7th level for which is useless once you get to the the 24th level? I'm really hating the level system for equipment if this is the case.

the master armorer can be found at Crows perch, talk to the blacksmith & ask him about master crafting

the master blacksmith is in Novigrad, walk around the city & talk to the various blacksmiths & they tell you about the master blacksmith & eventually you will find him.

the quest may be recommended at level24 but it is possible to complete it at a lower level just remember the lower your level the harder the quest will be. Also you should check the diagrams of the armour/weapons you want to craft as they can only be equipped when your char is at a certain level.

Yes I do realize that they can only be equiped when you are at the level for the weapon or armor. I can use both the firsl level of the Griffen silver and steel swords but yet I need a master smith to make them and I cant find one any where. I think the restriction on armor and weapons suck to be honest with you there.

I've only found a "Journeyman" level swordsmith in Novigrad proper, corner of the fish market nearest Hierarch Square during the daytime.

it shouldn't take long to track down the master blacksmith in Novigrad as by talking to the other blacksmiths in Novigrad & asking them about master crafting you will be led to the blacksmith you need
