Hello GOG team, i found out why are missing meshes/textures from environment/buildings after installing patch v1.22 for the main game and for all dlc, because HoS/BaW dlc v1.21 are reuploaded as v1.22!
How do i know?
I checked the latest backuped patches i downloaded from GOG today, Properties>Details>File version from"setup_the_witcher3_exp1_2.0.0.45" and "setup_the_witcher3_exp2_2.0.0.45", both are 1.21.0.0,
only "setup_the_witcher3_dlc1-16_2.0.0.45" the free dlc 16 pack is correct 1.22.0.0.
Please correct it immediately!
Please upload the correct v1.22 patches of HoS and BaW!

No way! When I tried to play the game I got all kinds of fucked up textures on buildings, landscapes and other objects and figured that changes were made to the game that inadvertently broke on AMD Radeon hardware, in particular my card which is below-spec HD7850 and that I'd get told "your card is unsupported" or something like that (even though the identical but faster 7870 is supported). So I grumbled, then just chucked the game off to the side as unplayable for now.

I couldn't be certain that it wasn't caused by AMD video driver updates and didn't have the time to spend hours switching to older drivers endlessly testing things.

So if you're correct and this problem is caused by a GOG file naming screwup, then that is good news! Time to make this get someone's attention now! :)

Hi there,

Yes, there is 1.21 tag in file properties, but it's only in file properties, our build machine had a slight problem with version file naming :)

I can assure you that this is only 'problem' with this files - wrong tag in File Properties.

It's just a string, but thx you've pointed that out, we will replace this files soon to avoid confusing.

EDIT: as for DLC data - they are in correct version 1.22

I deleted the old "setup_the_witcher3_exp1_2.0.0.45" and "setup_the_witcher3_exp2_2.0.0.45" which were v1.21
and downloaded them again, now they are v1.22, but still meshes/textures are missing, also something i did not mentioned before, the loading screen takes more time to start moving the line!
I tested it, with and without mods, still the issue persists.
I can't continue the HoS main quest anymore. :(

Are you sure you need to download and install the 1.22 version of DLC's HOS and BAW.

I downloaded the main game patch and when it installs it states it is updating content for the main game and HOS and BAW.

I always thought it a stupid way to update a game, download a main patch and then have to download the whole DLC's again, total waste of bandwidth.

Any other game just patches the whole thing with one patch without having to redownload supposed updated DLC's separately.

Ok, but the graphics are still completely screwed up for many players where they used to work perfectly fine. The game is unplayable to me presently which is very disappointing for this epic game. Might or might not be something GOG can do about it, but if it is bugs in the game or its DLC itself then CDPR has some more work to do to bring the game back to epic GOTY status for sure. Screwed up models and textures just make it unplayable.
I'm going to go stick my head in the CDPR Witcher forums to see what's up with this. Seems to be many GOG gamers experience it with a diverse array of both AMD and nVidia hardware so it seems very unlikely to be video driver bugs, and very likely to be game bugs. There has to be people on the official forums experiencing it too. I'll report back if I find anything, and hopefully they put out a 1.23 soon that fixes it all. It's cruel having the expansions now and not being able to play them due to newly introduced bugs. :/
About updates to Witcher 3.

Why don't I get any notification when this game is updated, have happened twice now, update to 2.0.0.44 and 2.0.0.45.

All other games (so far) have had a notification of updates pinned to my account bar (the thing you click to get into your account).

So if im want to update my game to 1.22 i also have to download whole addons HoS (BaW) again?
Well, if not was that the issue, then i am really sorry for reporting that gog team uploaded v1.21 as v1.22,
i was not blaming them, but i just thought it was that reason for the missing meshes/textures.
I wish the next update will be release very soon to fix this issue, its really annoying
to not play the game further cause if this issue!

Not as far as I know and has been posted else where, the latest Patch 1.10+ to 1.22 States on install that it will update content in main Game, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine all in one go.

That is what I did, a common sense way to do updates rather than downloading separate DLC all over again.

The game and the Expansions must be at 1.21 version for the patch to update them all though.

I have the latest version of the game plus all dlcs patched to 1.22 I don't encounter any of the above mentioned missing textures and what not.

What's going on GOG?!

Wow, I didn't think I'd see someone who is upset for _not_ experiencing a bug that some people are having. If it was possible, I'd trade you my non-working game for your working one though, just because my heart is in the right place. ;oP
After the fifth repair/verify while on v1.22, GOG run Microsoft Visual CC+ 2012 to reinstall,
after the graphical issues from witcher 3 are gone!
That was very weird, how can witcher 3 had those issues while M V CC + 2012 32/64 bit
were already installed and all other games had not a single issue?
And why did the repair/verify give the M V CC + 2012 on the first run with patch v1.22 on?
I don't know what exactly was the problem but now the game works great again,
except roach's tail and half mane!
My Witcher 3 graphics problems appear to be gone now also after doing the following steps I outlined in a post in this other thread:
