From time to time GOG Galaxy downloads updates for witcher3 although all updates are already installed.
Anyway GG does not say what exactly has changed after the downloads finish.

I suppose it always downloads the same 2.4 GB patch again and again.
(All files in gog download location are dated older than 2016)

How can I see, what GOG Galaxy really does?

Additional info:

\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\content\content4\ contains a 1.4 GB file named enpc.w3speech
That file has been recently updated, BUT for no reason. All available patches to the game has already been installed in january.

If you have any mods installed that alter your game assets, Galaxy will try to put that right. Having said that, Galaxy is probably one of the main issues in non-functionality of this game; it's too buggy.
I don't know why Galaxy wants to download the same files again and again but the patch contains the english audio. There was a bug. Read this:

"There was a 7 day period about 1-2 weeks ago where if you downloaded the Witcher 3 in your preferred language (in this German :) ) the English language portion of the game, which is available with ALL copies of The Witcher 3 was getting erroneously removed, This was fixed and that 2-3 GB update was basically the English version getting redownloaded to your installation"
