When, I go to the Gedyneith point on skellige and talk to the druid who has the exclamation point for a quest ne just says Witcher does anyone know how to fix this or how to make this quest work?

It's a bug, he only gives you a quest if you haven't already got the same quest from talking to the other druid.

If you talk to him first, you can ask him about the druid he was talking to & the quest mark goes away.

What other Druid He is sitting outside by himself? are you referring to the Druid who gives you the Alchemy Quest?

Yes Gremist, or something like that.
When you first enter the area, they are talking to each other.
If you talk to the other one first, you can say "who was that you were talking to"
He tells you a little about Gremist & you get the Practicum in Advanced Alchemy quest, and the exclamation mark goes away.
If you talk to Gremist first, or get the quest from another alchemist, then you can't interact with him and the quest marker stays there permanently.
