Hi,

I have bought the game on Steam about two months ago. However, recent events have led me to not wish to spend anymore money on Steam. Should I wish to get the expansion pass as well, would I be able to "attach" it to TW3 in my steam library?

Alternatively, I heard I can reclaim TW3 on GoG, given that I have bought it on Steam, but when I went to gog dot com slash reclaim, found it was not what I needed?

Thank you

Ok, everything I'm going to say is a personal opinion only.

I've made the exact same decision a while ago to not spend money on Steam anymore, so I support you on this one. Nothing bad happened to me as a Steam user, it's just observing some unpleasant situations happening with others guys inclined me to stop supporting Steam.

Expansion pack is being sold, but it's not on sale and the first adventure of this expansion will be available in October 2015. So you have plenty of time to consider purchasing it. If you're sure then wait for the sale and if there's none then buy it before the release. You don't lose anything and it's not beneficial to purchase it right now, unless you want to support CDPR even more.

I've heard that rumour about activating TW3 on GOG too. But you cannot claim it right now, probably sometime later. As I said, it's better to wait. If you'll be able to activate a free copy on GOG, then I think there will be a way to use your saves from Steam gameplay.

In your case I'd stay with what you have, not purchase anything extra yet and enjoy the game on 19th.
