Im extremely frustrated right now.

Playing on an MSI GE72 Laptop, i7, 970M.

Zero mods/ with mods it doesnt matter. After you press the dialog to skip the combat tutorial, it swaps to the cinematic of ciri about to hit a training dummy than it FREEZES. I have to alt tab and kill the process. If i do the combat tutorial, afterwards it still FREEZES.

I've have been trying for 3 hours or more to fix this problem.

I've tried to run it as admin, do antivirus stuff, restart PC, I've verified the game files more times than I can remember, I've messed with graphic settings, changing it from windowed/fullscreen etc. I've googled to the ends of the earth for this problem and have found no solution.

I cannot redownload the game so im stuck just messing with the files.

I'm running out of ideas and it's stressing me out bcause I really really would like to play

Maybe you have your settings too high.

"The user needs to reduce the settings with demanding games, like “Assassin's Creed Unity”, “Ryse: Son of Rome” or “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”. "

Thats the 960M verion of the laptop, I have the 970M. Something I forgot to mention is about 1.5 years ago I played this game just fine on my laptop and even had 10+ mods installed however the difference was that I was running the original witcher 3, NOT the GOTY version. THats the only difference.

Keep this in the question thread. See my reply there.
