Theftwind: Problem solved. The 660TIs that I had were running at their limits even with everything, and I mean everything, dialed down to off or minimum. I downloaded GPU-Z and ran it while I ran the game. When the crashes occurred I was pushing 70C as well as utilizing 100% of GPU memory. Went out today and bought a GTZ 960 FTW, 4 gb card, replaced my 2 660 tis and have been running smoothly since. Have it at medium settings currently and GPU temp is running no higher than 50C.

Fenixp: So you think it was a temperature issue after all? Doesn't seem like a memory issue, the worst that would happen is the card switching to swap memory and ... Well, that just kills performance, not the game
From the error messages I was getting I am leaning more towards a TDR (Timeout detection and recovery) error. I thought it may be an overheat problem but there were times it crashed while the temperature readings were not excessive but the cards were still working to the max according to GPU load and Memory used as reported by GPU-Z. The driver would not recover in time and produced the crashes.

Currently running the new card at High settings across the board, everything turned on including Hairworks and it is running smoothly. The minimum requirements for this call for 660 gpus. Eventually I may max everything just to test limits but at the moment just want to enjoy playing without going boom.
