Snowwolfe45: Hello,

Earlier today i played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt GOTY edition no problem. I exit the game, see there is a new update for Galaxy 2.0, install it, and go about my day. Flash forward to about 4 hours ago, i go to play it again, however it doesnt launch at all. no black screen, nothing in the task manager, it just does not launch.

So go to verify/repair. it sits on 0% forever, so I reinstall. However, the download hits 97% and says failed at the Executing Setup phase of the install. So i try again. Same thing. So i reinstall Galaxy. Reinstall the game. Same issue. I tried what some older forum post say and reinstalled the visredist_C++. No dice.

I downloaded the old GOG.com download client. Download it that way. Launch the game. It works, but it is in version 1.31, not 1.32, so my save files are not compatible. I try to manually update to 1.32 but can't. I have hours of progress into my current save so that just isn't viable to me at the moment.

Tried to install the offfline backup game installer files, but they wont save to any location on my drive.

I'm at a loss.
