The game kept crashing on me in a marshy village area with 3 Wraiths patrolling around. I've had a bunch of crashes over the 40 or so hours I've played the game, but every time I loaded into this area it crashed. The last time it happened I was forced to turn my PC on and off, upon doing which the game disappeared from GOG Galaxy. I haven't tried to install it fresh because I'm afraid it'll delete everything and make me download it all again. I tried doing the thing where you can have it scan a folder, but it didn't detect the game.

I also was forced to do a repair disk on my computer because the game was crashing so much it seems to have messed something up on my C: drive.

I've tried restarting my PC and it didn't make a difference. I'm not sure how to fix this. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hmm interesting - the game hasn't crashed for me, not once; and I've played 120 hours ish so far.
I'm wondering if perhaps there wasn't something wrong with the game, but rather your hard drive.

On GOG Galaxy, in your libary click Witcher 3.
Click More -> mouse over Manage... -> click Import Folder.

Or if you mean it's completely disappeared from your libary and you can't do that, you'll need to get in touch with GOG support.

It's still in my library, and when I do click on it there is no More option. I just tried reinstalling the Galaxy client, and at first it seemed like it worked, the games I had installed were appearing on the left side of the client, but they all showed as 'Not Yet Played', which isn't true. Then when I clicked on them nothing happened. I then tried closing and opening the client and again, all the games were gone. I've now just tried installing the client on a different hard drive but it didn't fix anything. No games are showing on the left side of the client anymore. Even when I install a new one it doesn't show there.
