After about level 25 the game started crashing in the inventory, the screen just goes black and nothing but rebooting works, the sounds still playing but ctrl alt del etc nothing works. Anyone had the same problem and managed to fix it?

P8P67
i2500k
GTX970
8GB RAM
Corsair 650w HX GOLD
Win10 (clean install not long ago)

Every possible driver etc is up to date, the temps are fine ingame cpu 45c-55c and gpu 60c-70c. Really annoying when you have to save everytime you wanna just put some oil on the blade etc.

The game may need a clean install also.

Sounds (no pun intended) like a sound driver fault. This kind of thing happens when the driver gets stuck in an infinite loop and doesn't relinquish control back to the operating system. You need to check your sound drivers and your sound card. Also, reduce the sample rate/bit depth in control panel advanced. Try 16bit / 48000 Hz.

I had a very similar problem everytime I picked up a hidden treasure questitem, which way appearently bugged, did you pick a quest item shortly before it started to happen? If that's the case try reloading a save previous to that point and see if it still craches.
