I'm really hoping someone can help!

Ok so I'm playing on xbox one.

I've just got to novigrad and I'm having a lot of general issues, I'm assuming due to the busy-ness of the area. Loading times for cutscenes are very long and in conversations I'm experiencing loading after almost every line of dialogue.

So anyway I visited Triss's house and went back into the marketplace to search for a thief... I found one and followed him to that circus area though the door.

Here is where I'm having problems. Just after you go through that door a 'beggar' seems to talk to you, activating a cutscene, for me this cutscene simply will not load.

I've tried hard reseting the xbox and reloading to an earlier save but it won't work. I've tried the same quest 6 times now and it just never loads. So I can't continue with the main questline.

I can't find any reference to this issue online.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I've put a long time into this game!

Hey man, I ran into the same issue today and found a fix. Instead of following the guy through the door into the theater area, walk past the door and wait for him to come through the other side of the theatre, you can walk through the road while he's in the theatre and follow his progress. I think the cutscene is meant to play the first time you enter the theatre, but if you enter it for the first time during the quest it bugs out
