I restart galaxy to get W3 updated so I can play but it keeps trying to download 0.0mb and then fails telling me W3 failed to update .... i downloaded patch manually but when I try to install it says "game installation not found please uninstall", how do i fix it ?
Or did galaxy fail and I should give it up for Gog.com Downloader (tm) ?

Are you using any Antivirus or Firewall app? Aggressive setup on those can block your installations. Also if you have installed the game to Program files folder then windows UAC can be messing with you.

Disabled firewall just for testing, but same thing.
Installation is at H:/games/gog/The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt, and i have other games in there they work with galaxy :)



(not related to my problem but funny thing, when i launched galaxy while my W3 is downloading on gog downloader, it made the gog downloader crush!)

SOLVED, thank to this post :

summary:

1) close (completely) gog galaxy
2) rename (or delete) files goggame-1207664643.info and goggame-galaxyFileList.ini
3) start gog galaxy and it should verify the game, will download about 600mb
4) i also applied patch 1
5) it works !
