Upon the release of 1.12 I had to completely reinstall my game from the discs I have because of a hard drive failure. Anyways, I was stuck at patch 1.02, so I downloaded the backup patch installer for 1.02-1.10 and then download the 1.10-1.12 patch installer.
So everything's going good and I'm running 1.12 just fine until they released the 1.12.1 hotfix. I read on the internet that the hotfix was only 300mb-800mb, but the Galaxy Client wants to download 3.9 gb for no reason. So I go back to the backup download installers and download the one for the new 1.12.1 which is only 479 mb. I install the patch through the installer, and now Galaxy Client doesn't recognize the game as being installed. Where the "Play" button usually is, it now says "Install".
So now when I Import my Witcher folder for GOG to rescan my entire installation for half an hour, it just prompts a 38 gb download. This is beyond ridiculous. I can still play the game just fine, I just want GOG to properly recognize my install.
