I'm hoping for some assistance in the game constantly crashing on me. I'm only now getting around to playing Blood and Wine and while previously the game performed fine, its now crashing rather frequently and seemingly at random. Sometimes it will happen in a cutscene. Sometimes it'll happen during gameplay. Sometimes I can go a couple of hours with no crashes, sometimes only 30 minutes.

Basically, the game will play along fine until all of a sudden I get a Windows notification sound and then the game stops. It doesn't completely freeze. The audio seems to continue for a bit including to reacting to inputs, but the video is frozen and eventually the game just completely crashes. Although I get the Windows notification bing, I don't have any errors or anything telling me anything is wrong.

I've updated my graphics card drivers, dusted out my computer, fiddled with some hardware and in game settings, but nothing seems to prevent it. Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.

I'm playing the GOG Galaxy version of the game via the Steam Link.

Could that be a problem?

That's definitely a system problem, not a game problem. Something in your system (it could be related to Steam) is causing an error, which is why you get the critical stop bing.
Yeah, I played a bit via Galaxy at my PC and got the same crash, but was able to see the error. It was regarding the nvidia display driver stopping, so that was the issue. I also discovered my CPU was overheating. I've correct my CPU's issue; not sure if I corrected the nvidia driver issue, but at least I have more definition.

Appreciate the replies, guys.
