Lately, The Witcher 3 has been crashing a lot, usually when initiating a conversation with an NPC. The crashes most of the time don't produce an error (when they do, Event Viewer references witcher3.exe and ntdll.dll), and seem to coincide with the release of 'Game Overlay' in GOG Galaxy's DLC list. Despite the name 'Game Overlay' apparently being related to GOG Galaxy, I still experience the same type of crashes when I run the game directly/without GOG Galaxy...

I'm running an AMD/Sapphire R9 290 on Windows 10 x64, and have experienced the same problem with at least the past three AMD driver releases (including betas).

for me it seems to triggers at points where the game tries to auto save during an event ... fucking annoying.

I just wrote that with a Dwarfs voice stuck in me head.
For me, I was having crashes every 5 minutes with the game overlay box checked. since unchecking it, crash-free through the last six hours.
