I'm not much of a gamer.

I mostly do 3d CG animation when I have computer time.

GOG came along with Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Torment, and Neverwinter Nights and, although I already owned those games, the CDs are getting a bit long-in-the-tooth, if you know what I mean. So I gladly bought them again for occasional periods of gaming goodness.

Being into GOG, I then saw this thing that we saw being developed using the Neverwinter Nights' Aurora game engine - The Witcher, and it looked cool, so I bought it.

Like I said, I don't play games much at all. So there it sat in my account.

I downloaded the extra goodies - the art and soundtrack... they were so good that I bought The Witcher 2 EE and added those extras to my collection as well.

Well... finally... I see this long anticipated (for me) GOTY edition of The Witcher 3 on this summer sale and I had to jump at the opportunity.

In anticipation, I installed The Witcher (1) and started playing through it. Oh man... I'm addicted! Geralt is freaking awesome!

I just finished downloading (as I typed this) the extra goodies for The Witcher 3 GOTY, which is a LOT of goodies, and they, of course, don't disappoint! Damn, I love this stuff!

These soundtracks are worth more than I've payed for the whole thing, and then there's this wonderful art! Oh... cool... Witcher 3 paper dolls? Gotta make a scene on my shelf! ;)

Anyway... just wanted to chime in as a HUGE fan of this whole series! I love the ultra high quality of everything I've ever bought from CD Projekt RED - I am a forever fan!

As I was typing I was listening to the amazing new music I just got! Damn!

My Son knows how much I love game/movie soundtracks, so when he bought Witcher 3 for PS4, he gave me his soundtrack CD and I listen to it a lot in the car.

So nice to now have it with the rest of my Witcher music collection on my computers!

But also, the two expansions we get with the GOTY edition also provides new soundtracks that are truly fantastic, like the rest of the series... over impressed = Me!
