I have the GOTY edition. . When I finish the main quest of The Witcher 3, I assume when that is over, I can play Hearts of Stone, then Blood and Wine.

Are they a continuation of the Main Quest in Witcher 3, or are the completely seperate? I tried finding the answers online, but started seeing spoilers for the end game, and stopped looking.

Thanks! :)

The 2 expansions are completely separate to the main game. You don't have to finish the main game first (but you can if you want), i think you can start playing HOS from around level 28-30 and BAW from 32 i think (going off my memory)

Both of the expansions are treated as self-contained mega quests, meaning you can play them both from within the main game. They are activated from the notice board at the Seven Cats inn. The only thing you need to be mindful of is that they are both tailored for higher level characters. HoS quests begin around level 30. B&W quests at around level 35.
Thank you both for answering the question, I appreciate it!! :)
