I own both DLC's

2nd portal after Eredin escapes with only a sliver of health and the meteors start raining. Whenever i enter the portal, my screen just turns black, i can hear som sound from a possible cutscene? Then the game crashes.

Fought him to the same health like 5 times now...

No spoilers thanks.

I tried verifying, restarting the game, loading a different save slot, nothing works.

Any ideas?

I am having same issue.

Remove (NOT disable) all mods and verify/repair your installation.

I had this problem , here is how i passed the portal and fixed it :
When he passes the portal , the quest is broken down to 2 tasks:
- Kill Eredin
- Follow Eredin in portal
but you will notice that Kill Eredin is the active task.
DON T pass the portal before to have activated FOLLOW EREDIN task , through the Quests Menu (it won t let you use the in-game shortcut I had this problem , here is how i passed the portal and fixed it :

I don't know how this worked. But I was able to pass the glitch or bug.
- Exit Geforce experience
- Then in game, I waited around 30 sec after 2nd portal opened and Eredin left. The quest changed to "Kill Eredin" from "Follow". Then I jumped into portal and killed Eredin.

See, it definitly is a question of the right task (FOLLOW instead of KILL) to be active !

I am having EXACTLY the same problem. This is absolutely a game-breaking bug... and at the climax, no less! After investing 200h and two years working my way to this point, I can't see the ending because of a game-breaking crash during the big final fight.

Follow Hickery's advice. I have finished the game 3 times and never encountered this bug.

Is this still the only fix to this bug? I know I'm late to the game, but picked it up the GOTY edition on sale because I heard such great things about this game. I'm having a blast, but I get to this bug and even doing this trick I'm having the same black screen problem - it's really frustrating. I hope Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't have this problem - really painful to get to the end and not be able to finish the story.
