When a Yrden trap hits an enemy, a Yrden glyph is placed there.
So what this Glyphword does is to make you yrden trap to work almost like in the witcher 2 which is nice but... So far, from my experience it has only worked against little spiders. I havent tried in a lot of things but I'm pretty sure it didnt worked against humans which is really disappointing... I dont know if is just a bug or is it really suppose to just work on the very little things? because if that's the case this Glyphword is tottaly not worth it...
Can someone confirm and opinion on this?

All I can say about the glyphwords is that they are expensive. I already paid the guy 5000 and then 10000. I have not yet paid the 15000. When I checked his store and read some information in this screen, it commented how there are different levels of each glyphword thus becoming stronger each level. What level glyphword for Yrden did you have applied? How much have you paid the dude? I decided to hold off buying any glyphwords until (I hope) I can just get a high level. But, I do not know if it makes you buy each level in between each level to get the high level - let alone I will have to pay the 15000 - hoping that would be the end of that $$ drain - do not know yet.

A little off topic but is there a new level cap in HoS? I just noticed my weapons are lvl 75+ to use, I just realised this when I was doing the Runewright quests.

I though you were only paying for a new glyphword tier since all web sites I see divide the glyphwords in 3 tiers unlocking more glyphwords in each tier. I currently have tier 2 and I wasn't thinking in paying 15000 to unlock tier 3 since the glyphwords I feel the glyphwords it unlocks are not worth it. But if in fact, unlocking tier 3 will make my tier 2 glyphword stronger then I will pay it

Well, I caved in last night and paid the 15000 to see what was going on (and that is the end of the $ drain). It appears each glyphword is what it is. Overall, there are some glyphwords that simply are level ones, then some level two's and some level threes. After paying the 15000 it will give you 13 new glyphwords (in addition to your 10 glyphwords from level 1 and 2) ---- for a total of 23 different glyphwords. Even within the newest 13 glyphwords (from spending the 15000) some are tier 1 or two or three - doesn't appear to change any - they are what they are.

I do not know but I noticed some much higher levels on weapons and armor also. If level 75 is to be had then I must guess they put it way out there to handle all expansions. I am feeling like a much younger Geralt now (level39).
