I can not find a single ekimmara hide in this game for alchemy. Yes, I've cleared dragonslayer grotto, by-ways, and the watermill in novigrad. All three ekimmaras did not drop a hide. Is there no where else in the game to get them?

I hope you find some. I'm at a point in alchemy where I need two of them. I'm at a point in the game where I've reached my first one of these monsters, and I absolutely cannot kill it. I have to come back later, not enough dps :(

They're out there if you haven't come across them yet. I've now gotten 3 or so for some very useful upgrades. I'm guessing the drop is on specific ones, just like their trophy or mutagen.

That's the thing about this game. If there's a specific thing you want to upgrade, you are pretty much forced to explore every ? until you get it. When I do sit down to play this game, I commit quite a few hours, so afterward, its all a blur of awesomeness and vague memories.

There are surprises in the game. Sometimes what you initially set out hunting or questing for is not what you eventually get, or you stumble upon much as you proceed.

I think you are almost SOL then! :(

I've only found two encounters with Ekimmaras so far, Dragonslayer's Grotto - Velen and Quest: Following The Thread - Novigrad.

AFAIK your last hope is the one Ekimamra who drops trophy (Witcher Contract one), but chances of it dropping two hides is non existent i think.

P.S. All Ekimmaras can drop the hide it's up to RNG!
