I bought a copy of the Witcher 3 from ebay today and was directed to the nvidea geforce page to redeem a code... at which point my heart obviously sank because I realised I'd been scammed.

GOG isn't currently accepting redeem codes, I'm presuming its because of the scam this seller is running on Ebay. I'm gutted :(

I should have trusted my instinct not to go for it, a warning to anyone else considering it, don't!!

EDIT: Working fine now - ignore me, not sure what happened with redeem code but it seems all good now!

Wow... what a bastard... can't you do really anything to get back your money?

P.S. I was curious about buying on e-bay, but I think I'll keep far far away from that place XD

gog must be accepting codes because i gifted my mate a Witcher 3 code i got with my gpu and he redeemed it.

As the OP said,he wasn't sent to Gog but Nvidea.Nvidea won't give a key from Ebay.

When I try and redeem it on GOG it just kicks me back to the Nvidia page. GOG has a message up saying it's investigating fraudulent activity (which I guess relates to redeem codes).

I'm gutted, was looking forward to playing tonight..

you dont redeem the code on gog, you redeem it on the nvidia page and then it sends you to gog to activate it.

What was the problem? You pasted the code wrong?

No, code was fine, I just got stuck in a strange redirect loop between the Geforce page and GOG... no idea tbh. Ah well, download on the way now!
