Im being told to download 24GB of the Witcher 3 even though I bought the retail copy and installed everything that way? Ive downloaded the patch but it's still telling me to download the game and I really dont know what to do. Someone please shed some light on this :(((

I just ran into the same problem. I played the game for an hour or so, then tried aagin and it want to download it all. its to do with the GoG Galaxy. I think it looks for the game is a different location or something.

so I have deleted it all and reinstalling it form dick ( I don't have the data for 25gig), but this time im going to say no thank you the GoG galaxy program ( if I get the option)

I think it needs GoG to run though :/ it reallly sucks because I want to play this game so bad
Actually i found an option that allows manual download of the game from the website it self, Im going to to try this way and hopefully it works and if not then I truly dont know what else to do

You can try Galaxy too, import the game to Galaxy and patch it through there. Might work that way.

yeah, seem to intall GoG Galaxy regardless. this time its "checking local files" will have to wait and see now

works but there are double up on some files for some reason. well off to play again :)
